KC 703 Sludge Conditioner

KC 703 Sludge Conditioner

Kashvi Chemicals and Services offer Boiler Chemical which available is KC 703 Sludge Conditioner.
Detailed Description

Boiler systems uses following additives to prevent fouling, scaling and biofouling in order to optimize boiler recovery rates, improve operational efficiency of boiler and reduce problems associated

Boiler water sludge is caused by small quantities of hardness salts and traces of suspended matter present in operational steam boilers and feed waters.

If left untreated, salt and suspended matter concentrations increase in the boiler water to create sludge. This sludge settles and eventually “bakes” onto the boiler heat transfer surfaces, forming a hard crystalline scale which increases maintenance costs, degrades heat transfer efficiency and degrades overall boiler efficiency.

To ensure that boiler systems are well maintained and operate at optimum efficiency it is essential that the correct water conditions are maintained at all times. This can be achieved using carefully selected sludge conditioners designed specifically for steam boilers.

Our high performance boiler water sludge conditioners are scientifically formulated to combat the accumulation and build-up of boiler sludge and so help reduce maintenance costs and maintain boiler efficiency...

Liquid Water is vaporized to generate Gaseous Steam through Boiler which is used in industrial processes for various applications. Since Boiler along with Condensate line not only deals with Liquid water but also Gaseous steam. Hence, treatment of feed water and water inside Boiler is complex. The objective is to operate Boiler with the highest efficiency for the longest possible time. Boiler water must be treated to prevent scaling, corrosion and sludge deposition.

Scale is the precipitate that forms on surfaces in contact with water as a result of the precipitation of normally soluble solids that become insoluble as temperature increases. Some examples of scale are calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate, and calcium silicate.
Scale inhibitors are surface-active negatively charged polymers. As minerals exceed their solubility’;s and begin to merge, the polymers become attached. The structure for crystallisation is disrupted and the formation of scale is prevented. The particles of scale combined with the inhibitor will than be dispersed and remain in suspension.

Scaling
Scaling is concerned with the seclusion of suspended inorganic particles, such as calcium carbonate, barium sulfate and iron compounds.

Fouling
Fouling is concerned with the seclusion of organic, colloidal and suspended particles. Bacteria and other microorganisms that decompose these particles will create substrates. As a consequence they will grow and develop further.

The processes that are mentioned above will cause a decrease in capacity and/or an increase of the pressure and, as a result, of the energy use.

It is very important to purify the membrane preventively. In many cases regular mild cleaning is better than cleaning periodically with an aggressive cleaning product. The membrane will than last longer.
